How to Use Underground Hypnosis Systems

03/01/2010

Underground Hypnosis has a particularly cloudy rep, but it and comparable conversational hypnosis programs can be a source of significant help. In all probability you have heard already that you can effectively convey messages to the unconscious mind this way, but you perhaps don’t realize that you can alleviate afflictions, be they emotional, physical, or mental. You can see this as an opportunity to do something as basic as making time to watch a specific television broadcast or doing something silly to working against depression and beating addiction to tobacco. I do understand how this might disturb you, but experienced practitioners know just what they’re doing and cause effectively no issues.

Conversational hypnosis along the lines of the approach passed on through Underground Hypnosis boils down to inducing a trance state in someone. However you can usually take them so deep into trance. How deeply the subject descends into the trance state is influenced by factors like their emotional status, hypnotist’s ability, and personality. At the earliest level, the subject’s minor muscles will release tension following an unconscious decision. They feel as if they wish to doze off. Some also feel like their eyelids are becoming heavier. Gradually larger muscles untense as well, particularly the shoulders and digits - and usually, this is a very speedy process. Picture being able to see and hear only one person. A skilled hypnotist can take you to this state by taking you into a deep enough trance state. From this point on, the subject is exposed to the power of suggestion. The trance can intensify even further to the point where the subject becomes capable of forgetting certain concepts if asked. Beyond that lies hallucination and altered perceptions; you can ultimately reach a state like that seen during general anesthetic. It’s been known for this heightened hypnotic state to be employed in place of anesthetic during medical procedures. You won’t find out how to bring your subject to that state via Underground Hypnosis, though, naturally, that kind of depth is rarely needed. For most purposes, the earlier levels are more than sufficient.

So look into the Underground Hypnosis crew - all are welcome. It only requires a scant few hours and a little practice, and in virtually no time, you’ll be convincing people to do what you prefer and improving your communication ability. That’s all you have to do - nothing to worry anyone.

Coping with Depression and Anxiousness

08/22/2009

How to survive a depression

Coping with anxiety can be difficult. Many individuals feel worn and low and find it tough to deal with ordinary living and its familiar troubles.

Depression is a critical malady.

It is deeply dissimilar from just experiencing the ‘blues’. It is normal to feel lousy and melancholy when you experience adversity and personnel casualty. The pain of an unhappy relationship, unemployment or mourning can spoil your humor for some time. When you are sad for any of these reasons, you don’t normally come to a absolute stop. Even though ‘your spirit isn’t in it’, you nevertheless manage to carry on with routine actions and enjoy the positive matters in life.

Unhappiness and sad moods will finally pass. If you experience severe sorrow, sharing your troubles with others can help you to come to terms with and cope with the grief.

To be “naturally sad” is not a disease, but depressive disorder is! It is a fundamental sadness that can destroy your quality of life. It is an strong feeling that you can’t manage. It can last for weeks, months or even years. If you suffer from anxiety, you can no longer control your mood or feelings. In clinical depressive disorder, the depressive emotion has become lasting; or holds out for a long time.

Depression can be handled and mastered
People tormented from depression need handling. If you suspect that you or somebody you love suffers from depressive disorder it is essential that treatment is sought. Make an assignment to see your physician, speak to a friend or kinfolk member.

There is a great range of competent intervention choices for depression. Patients normally make a full recovery. Seeking help if depression is suspected is the most fundamental first step on the route to recovery.

Acute treatment encompasses the period from beginning your medication until the depressive symptoms have fully gone away. After the acute intervention you should feel completely well. The acute treatment typically goes on for one to two months.

Maintenance treatment is essential to keep you well. For some time you will be more predisposed to slide back into depression. Hence continue the discourse and take your medication as prescribed by your physician.

Anger Managements for Teens

06/28/2008

As the kid comes to understand the world of being a teenager, there are many confusions and chaos, which can sometimes bring some impact to their growth. As kids make the transition, many elements can make their body and mind out of control. This may turn to anger if not guided well. Parents and teachers must educate the kids of the different transitional changes that will happen to their body.

Teens can react indifferently if they are confused. Young teens from twelve to sixteen years of age are more prone to doing things their own way because they feel that their emotions and freedom are being controlled, this results to unmanaged anger.

Teens of today’s world are more prone to pressures compared to the teens of the past. They are more exposed to violence and hostility. Other teens may come from a broken home where domestic abuse are constantly present. By the time they are starting to grow, they are exposed to things like these problems, so they tend to get out of out of control. They might have angers that can be expressed in the most antisocial form. That is why sometimes, they are required to undergo anger management.

Teens may experience frustrations that drive them to do criminal acts. The best way to revive a teen from this world is to seek help from their parents, teachers and law enforcers. They can train the teen on how to respond rationally to all these stress. They can teach the teens how to identify negative feelings and practice more mature behaviors as well.

Anger management programs can also be of great help to these suffering teens. This special program teaches them to improve their behaviors in ways that are more acceptable. The will be taught on how to think positive especially if they are from families who do not show them positive responses to stressors. From this, they can now learn how to handle difficult feelings.

Can a Pedigree of Royal Ancestry Help Define Self?

06/13/2008

If someone comes from a background of Royal Bloodlines, Dynasty or some sort of Pedigree can that help them define who they are? Well it certainly could help them define or perceive who they think they are. For instance if you are a Prince of some kind then perhaps it does define who you are to a large extent, but does it necessarily have to?

This subject recently came up in an online think tank due to a discussion on Royal Lineage. When one member asked me, since I like about a million other Americans and some 6 million residents of the UK have Royal Lines in their genealogy and ancestry. Here is the question; “Lance, if I may, I have a question for you.. now with all of that said do you believe that having such a pedigree can it define who you are??”

Not completely yet it makes a difference, genetics always do? But also nurture, experience, upbringing, good family parenting, observations and of course the greatest of all the human spirit, human intent and human will. A pedigree could be good or bad, if inbreeding occurs of course. We become what we believe we are or perceive ourselves to be. You become what you think about you see.

This seems to be relevant in the study of psychology of course and is used by athletes to compete, salesmen to sell and many psycho-cybernetic experts believe there is a lot to this. In fact even if you believe it made a difference, it automatically does, whether or not it actually physically did you see? Interesting subject indeed and therefore if a Prince believe he is a prince, he automatically becomes one with that title. Consider all this 2006.

Automatic Positive Thoughts (APTs) Rule!

05/15/2008

Are You Sure?

People are ‘unsure’ of their place, and who-and-what they are.
Confidence is an assumption - not a tangible entity like a leg.
Is self-confidence a product of your bank-account, a decade or two of success?

Real as a Right-Sided-Stroke

After fifteen-years as Division Vice-President overseeing 1,200
executives, graduating from MIT with a Ph.D, and earned wealth
with all its support systems. He smiled comically as he shared his deepest secret with a stranger…

“Every day I come to work - that’s fifteen-years - I wait to hear they figured-it-out - that I’m faking it, and know-nothing. No, it didn’t happen today - but probably tomorrow - maybe not. Okay, I’ll stick it out for anotherday - I still got ‘em fooled - aint that the limit?”

How can you relax and enjoy your success when you fear your competency?
Where does confidence come from? Is it genetic and hardwired, or can you buy it at Walmart?

Self-Confidence is not a ‘given’, it requires daily reinforcement
at both your conscious and non-conscious mind - or its shoots-its-wad and silently departs like Hurricane Rita.

You’ve Heard of ANTs - ‘Automatic-Negative-Thoughts

Psychologists estimate we have two-hundred different ANTs living in our mind to advise us about our talents, character, and personal-worth. Ninety-eight percent of the time they automatically assure us we stink, are a no-talent, and are fooling-the-public.

Read the lips of the Australian tennis-pro playing for the title - who smashed the ball into the net - “You stupid, no-good S.O.B. You… *&$!!”, he says to himself.

His blood boils over, and he can hardly breathe, but it goes on for up to sixty-seconds. Guess happens to him on the next serve - in that state-of-mind?
Right - he goofs again, and takes that as evidence the ANTs are right!
Okay - what’s your first-reaction to falling-flat on your fact? You need a new strategy that empowers you - not insults you when you stumble.

The ANTs Got Him

The first step is having ‘Two-Minute-Strategies’ to make self-esteem and personal-power automatic - and run on auto-pilot.

Know these Two-Minutes-Strategies and punch ‘illegitimate’ self-doubt - in the snout.

“Breathe-Stretch-Shake - Let-it-Go!”

First, the name - MASE, a superstar Rapper, released a lyric in 2005 on his “Welcome-Back” album called - ‘Breathe-Stretch-Shake and Let-it-go’.

Goal for us: annihilate the nasties from your mind, and alert the Big-Five senses to pay-attention and concentrate on the work-at-hand.

One-more-once - when you want to clear your head, focus on being productive - wake-up! your mind-and-body (not before going to sleep) - use ‘Breathe-Stretch-Shake - Let-it-Go!’

Personally - it should be a requirement every 90-minutes because we wind-down every one-and-a-half hours. That’s a scientific-fact, not an urban-myth.

This exercise takes no more than ninety (90) seconds!

1. Stand up - yes, that requires a decision.
2. Close your eyes - do it when you are in private.
3. Visualize your heart, and place your right-hand in the center of your chest.
4. Take a diaphragmatic breath (deeply inhale), and count to seven-beats - one-one-thousand, two-one-thousand, three-one…etc.
5. Switch hands and place your left-hand a hand-span above your navel
(belly-button, umbilicus), and visualize your belly-button.
6. Hold that inhalation to a count of ten-beats - (seconds) while
simultaneously visualizing your belly-button.
7. Exhale s-l-o-w-l-y to a count of seven-beats, and open your eyes.
8. Now - stretch out your arms and legs - and really s-t-r-e-t-c-h.
9. Shake-your-body vigorously - starting from your head and working down to your feet.
10. Last - and 50% of your grade - Slap-your-hand-down on a flat-surface,
and shout-out - if it is appropriate, or self-talk - enthusiastically …
“Let-it-Go!”

“But What’s the meaning of All This?”

We intellectuals - left-brain dominant - successful folk - spend 95% of consciousness analyzing the ‘why?’ of stuff. Just this once - just-do-it! - and
focus on the ‘how’ of things. The results are instantaneous - your brain gets a 12% jolt of oxygen and glucose, and disposes of excess carbon dioxide.

You’re awake and kicking - and ready to ‘concentrate’ on whatever you choose.

Conduct your own experiment - ‘Breathe-Stretch-Shake - Let-it-Go!’ - and discover your power of focus-and-attention - particularly after you notice yourself winding-down to a snail.

“But when do I do this exercise…and how do I…?”

Who is the Boss of You?

Use your volition - c-h-o-o-s-e, make decisions. Resign from being a ‘grunt’, and
be the commander-in-chief. It’s your life or go ask your Mama if this is worth
learning. Confidence means ‘with-trust’, and leads to self-assurance through belief,
when you take command of your mind-and-body.

See ya,

Employee Time Clock Software

04/12/2008

Employee time clock software is a part of the time clock software and provides the ultimate way to control the efficiency of employee hours worked.

This software helps to do away with the conventional paper time cards. These time clocks automatically calculate employee hours, overtime and off-time pay, in an easy-to-use system to manage hourly labor.

With the use of automated time clock software, employees can improve efficiency and eliminate or minimize errors associated with manual calculation. Also, an employee is assured that all the hours they put in will be efficiently tracked and consistently calculated for processing payroll.

Also, employees who work on an hourly basis would just need to type a few keystrokes instead of punching the old style mechanical time clock to start off their work day.

Ultimately managers can measure efficiency in each division more competently.

Time clock software keeps accurate time entry records and allows each employee to easily punch in and out. It can easily and efficiently track employee time spent on different projects. The automated software program completely manages the time data and employee profiles. Moreover, it makes employee scheduling easy and saves a lot of manual time tracking effort. Time clock software is also the perfect option to existing work schedules where flex time and multiple shifts are very common.

Some of these software programs are so advanced that they can detect and document repeated chronic or habitual absenteeism (Fridays and Mondays, for example) and also list absenteeism by category for each employee.

It is a complete and comprehensive software solution for managing employee time, attendance, vacations, sick time and holidays. The employee time clock software ensures the collection, management, and distribution of employee hours in real time.

Time Clock Software provides detailed information on Time Clock Software, Employee Time Clock Software, Payroll Time Clock Software, Networked Time Clock Software and more. Time Clock Software is affiliated with Free Timesheet Software.

Death Poem

04/08/2008

During the two years of my husband’s terminal illness, death was never far from my mind. We had been told he was dying and even a time in which it was supposed to happen. We had no idea of how it would happen. I was loathe to let him out of my sight incase he should suddenly die and not return to me and woke each day fearing that he may have died during the night. Towards the end of his illness I sensed that death was near, waiting in the shadows to steal my love from me and wrote the following poem.

Death, it waits in the shadows

But it sneaks ever closer

I can sense it- almost smell it

Tangible- real- waiting

Death - it waits like a vulture

Watching the once strong body falter

But it has no notion of will

The will to live which fights on

Refusing to see death even though

It stares him in the face

It does not honour courage

But I, witness to this brave struggle

Will forever hold my love in awe

His courage humbles me

His uncomplaining nature humbles me

His love un-changing and ever true

Holds me up

Despite his prognosis of three to nine months, Brian survived for two years. His courage never wavered and he fought a valiant battle to the end. Bed bound just three days prior to his death, he passed away at home surrounded by his loved ones. He was 54 years old.

A Guide to Omega 3 and Depression

04/04/2008

Natural remedies for depression…

Because of the negative side-effects associated with prescription anti-depressants, many people suffering from the symptoms of mild to moderate depression are looking at natural remedies. Several studies over the last seven years have established that there is a link between Omega 3 and depression relief.

In three of these studies involving dietary supplementation of Omega 3 fatty acids, which are found in several food sources including olive oil and especially fish oil, depression was often lifted somewhat after four weeks and greatly relieved after six to eight weeks. The results of studies using both EPA and DHA were more promising than the studies which used either of these two fatty acids alone.

Depression can also be a symptom of a vitamin deficiency, particularly a dietary deficiency of the B-complex, so a multi-vitamin supplement is often also suggested as one of the natural remedies for depression in addition to fish oils.

Other natural remedies and depression relief techniques include a regular exercise program, adequate sleep, meditation and eating a balanced healthy diet, rich in fruits, vegetables (particularly leafy greens) and fatty fish like salmon, mackerel, herring and sardines.

Fish Oil Depression

One fish that especially naturally high in crucial DHA and EPA is called the Hoki, which is native to the deep waters off of the coast of New Zealand. Hoki is used in some of the highest quality fish oil supplements.

In short, people looking for Omega 3 and depression relief may want to look into fish oils made from Hoki.

Fortunately, in recent years, much more has been written on the subject of natural remedies for depression relief, omega 3 and depression relief and the fish oil depression link. User’s Guide to Natural Remedies for Depression by Linda Knittel contains information on easing and preventing depression and advice on when to seek professional help.

Depression can be a very serious mental disorder and anyone suffering from it should seek professional advice from a physician, psychiatrist or psychologist.

Anyone who is currently taking an anti-depressant should consult their physician before trying certain herbs which are often touted for depression like St. John’s wort or SAM-e.

These natural remedies and depression medications, although effective for many, can also cause side effects. Supplements of Omega 3 and depression prescriptions are often taken at the same time, but it’s never advisable to do so unless you let your doctor know first.

How To Identify Your Own Depression

04/01/2008

Depression. What is it? Why would a normally healthy, optomistic person get depressed? If things go wrong, don’t you just talk yourself out of feeling sorry for yourself? So what if your 23 year marriage ends, and your soon-to-be ex-husband moves in with your best friend; you are left to cope with 2 devestated teenagers; you loose your father and father-in-law to cancer; you have extreme job challenges; and, your new condo, purchased without REALLY knowing what to look for (just don’t buy a home with a laundry room upstairs over the living room!) and you develop a roof leak, and a laundry leak into the living room. AND, you are the primary care giver for a very needy Mother.

You can handle all of this, right? And, when, the next year, you loose your Mother and Grandmother to cancer too, it doesn’t send you over the edge, does it? Particularly when you also have Multiple Sclerosis, which has been misdiagnosed for over 35 years, and the worst thing for MS is stress and anxiety. You can handle everything, right?

Well, I found that I couldn’t. Consider the following list of symptoms that one should review if you think that you might be suffering from depression. OR, if you, like me, are convinced that you CAN HANDLE IT, if the rain would just stop; or, if the roof would just stop leaking (I’ve already tried to get it fixed 2 times, and it hasn’t yet worked; I now have a gallon bucket sitting in the front hallway to catch the water leaking from the hole in the roof); or, if the kids would just stop being “normal” teenagers, when you no longer have a husband to help you in the day-to-day coping with teenagers.

Here is a checklist of symptoms of depressive illness:

1) Loss of energy and interest.
2) Diminished ability to enjoy oneself.
3) Decreased — or increased — sleeping or appetite.
4) Difficulty in concentrating; indecisiveness; slowed or fuzzy thinking.
5) Exaggerated feelings of sadness, hopelessness, or anxiety.
6) Feelings of worthlessness.
7) Recurring thoughts about death and suicide.

I remember clearly my “last straw”. I read the list, above, and was sure that these 7 symptoms did NOT describe me. Then, with all of my water problems at home, I went to work in my 4th (top) floor office that just happened to have a flat roof. While on the phone arguing with the roofer who claimed that my roof shouldn’t be leaking, and my telling him that it still was leaking, and if he didn’t believe me, he could just come over and see my bucket full of water in my entry way, when I heard the familiar “pitter-patt” noise that freaked me out at home. I looked up at my office ceiling just in time to see water beginning to gush out of the ceiling tiles, around the hanging lights, and pour into my office. That did it. I went home. That night, I awoke thinking that I heard the “pitter-patt” in the upstairs laundry room, dripping water into my living room. I got up, turned off the water to the washing machine; stuffed all of my towels around the washer, and stood with my back against the wall in my first ever anxiety attack, thinking that if this was what my life had become, why would I even want to continue living it?

This event scared me into going to my Doctor. He had a great little “depression” test for me. Knowing my fragile state, he asked me the statements, and, based both on my answers and on the detailed symptom impairment document that I had started preparing for him, prescribed an antidepression medication for me.

I learned two critical things that day - three, really. The first one is that it is critical to have a Doctor that you trust, that knows you, and that LISTENS to what you are saying. Secondly, since he knew about my MS, he told me that Depression was a frequent secondary symptom of MS. (At that time, I hadn’t done my MS symptom research yet; the Disabilitykey Workbook, found at www.disabilitykey.com is the ultimate result of all of my symptom and system - Long Term Disability and Social Security Disability Insurance - research for myself.) Third, I learned that no matter how strong your personality is, and no matter how positive a person you are, Depression is NOT something you can get over by just “thinking positive thoughts”; by “keeping a stiff upper lip”. If you truely think that you are suffering from Depression, there is nothing wrong from talking to your Doctor, and seeking his advice.

All that I have discussed so far happened over a dozen years ago. I am still taking antidepression medication, and it does help. I have searched high and low for the original test that my Doctor used on me, and finally found one at one of my favorite resources, called the “Institute for Algorithmic Medicine” (that’s academic talk for medical condition tests). The test is “The Zung Self-Rating Depression Scale”. As you read the following questions, ask yourself where the statement ranks on the following scale:

1) A little of the time for me.
2) Some of the time for me.
3) A good part of the time for me.
4) Most of the time for me.

I fell down-hearted and blue.
Morning is when I feel the best.
I have crying spells or feel like it.
I have trouble sleeping at night.
I eat as much as I used to.
I still enjoy sex.
I notice that I am losing weight.
I have trouble with constipation.
My heart beats faster than usual.
I get tired for no reason.
My mind is as clear as it used to be.
I find it easy to do the things I used to.
I am restless and can’t keep still.
I feel hopeful about the future.
I am more irritable than usual.
I find it easy to make decisions.
I feel that I am useful and needed.
My life is pretty full.
I feel that others would be better off if I were dead.
I still enjoy the things I used to do.

This little test, with your self rating for each statement, and with your symptom impairment documentation, so that your Doctor knows more about you and what is going on in your life, s/he can best decide what to do to help you better achieve a higher quality of life. Perhaps antidepression medication isn’t what you need, something else would be better for you. But, if you don’t learn, document, seek help, and discuss with your Doctor, s/he can’t help you help yourself.

Many of you are probably asking yourselves how I can just put myself out there; just put into these bloggs what is going on in my life. I’m doing this, sharing these experiences so that you can know that I have been there; I’ve done that; I’ve got the t-shirts!
